Dr. Dan Luna has focused his passion for leadership to an experiential and academic path. Dan is a retired US Navy SEAL, who served honorably for 20 years. He graduated with BUD/S class 228, and served at SEAL Team One, Naval Special Warfare Development Group, and the United States Naval Academy. Dan’s leadership skills were refined while working at the Academy and where he was voted the Class of 2017 Honorary Graduate. Dan has a Bachelor’s in Organizational Leadership from University of Charleston, Executive Master of Leadership and Leadership Coaching Graduate Certification from Georgetown University, and Doctor of Education in Leadership and Organizational Change from the University of Southern California. Over the years, Dan has successfully led a large platform of diverse cultures and teams. Since retirement, Dan has become an entrepreneur starting his own leadership coaching company, Team 3LX and he is serving as a Senior Fellow at the Naval Academy, in the Stockdale Center for Ethical Leadership. Dan is focused on educating, training, and coaching key stakeholders to improve performance specific to leadership and resilience. Optimizing his military career and academic mastery Dan is creating new learning supporting performance outcomes.
